Three beautifully simple Grapat Nins in warm colours (yellow, orange and red) for imaginative play.  Children will use them in so many ways including creatiing small worlds and stories from their own imagination, counting, learning colours and sorting.  

Grapat Toys is a small family run business in the beautiful region of Catalonia in northern Spain, the passion Casiana and Jord.  Made with the greatest love, care and attention to detail, Grapat toys are known for their loose parts which to encourage children to play and discover freely using their own imagination.  Inspired by Waldorf principles, Grapat toys reflect the beauty of the earth and are made from locally-sourced sustainable timbers and finished with water-based dyes.

The wood we use comes from sustainable forests. We use beech and birch. Wood is the source that inspires us daily. It is robust, soft and hard, it is warm, it sounds good and it smells good.

The dyes are based on water and non-toxic that comply with the European safety regulations of the Toy EN / 71-3: 2014 + A1: 2014 / 2013. Working with dyes and not with acrylic paints allows us to continue having contact with the wood who is noble and kind. The drawing of the vein, its nuances and touches, its own characteristics. The dye does not jump from the wood when it falls to the ground or when time passes because it penetrates deep inside the piece. Sometimes it can happen that by an excess of pigments some piece loses some color when coming in contact with the saliva, no problem, they are absolutely safe and non-toxic.

The finishes are made with waxes and oils of vegetable origin. The oils can have a strong aroma at first, but it loses it with the days. We love it! 

Each piece that passes through our hands is unique, each one is painted by hand, with our hands. And since from Grapat we defend the value of nature, we accept imperfection, it is beautiful and makes the material even more valuable.

INTERNATIONAL NOTES

Please note that standard post does not include tracking. Once dispatched you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. little whimsy cannot provide refunds if your items are lost in transit when shipped via standard post.


Please be aware purchaser is liable for any additional taxes/import duty that may incur during transit and/or on delivery. We do not offer refunds if you refuse the package due to customs charges. Please note shipments can often be held by customs for long periods of time, unfortunately this is beyond our control. Please ensure you are aware of the cost of these fees before you make your purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It MUST also be in the original packaging.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Exempt from returns: SALE section items, dummies/pacifiers, art prints and posters, gift cards. Shipping costs are NOT refunded unless the item is defective.

To initiate a return or exchange you MUST email us at hello@littlewhimsy.co.nz within 14 days of order receipt with your order number and reason for return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We only replace items and cover the extra shipping fees if the item is defective or damaged.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If your order then drops below a free shipping threshold you will be refunded the item value less a shipping charge that would have then applied to your order.

EXCHANGES:

If you need to exchange an item send us an email at hello@littlewhimsy.co.nz and we will organise your return and exchange.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We only replace items and cover the extra shipping fees if the item is defective or damaged.

If you are exchanging an item due to a change of mind there will be an additional shipping charge for your replacement item.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Your replacement item WILL NOT BE SENT until we have received and checked your return.
